Lee Hoffman has been a licensed clinician in private practice since 1993. Her B.A. is from SLU and M.S.W. from LSU. She holds a Post Masters Certificate in Family, Child and Adolescent Therapy from Tulane University. She has served as a clinical faculty member of Tulane Medical School. She is a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy specialist and is trained in the use of clinical hypnosis for the treatment of anxiety, phobias, and other psychiatric disorders.
Mrs. Hoffman has presented numerous seminars throughout the state and is trained in the use of clinical hypnosis. She is Director of Dialectical Behavior Therapy of New Orleans. Her DBT program is the original intensively trained team, using Marsha Linehan's methods, in the state.
She offers assessment for a wide variety of problems, and treatment for parenting difficulties, depression, anxiety disorders and phobias (including school refusal), smoking cessation, eating disorders, self-harm and emotional disregulation including borderline personality disorder. She provides a client referral service to adjunct professionals as needed.
Mrs. Hoffman sees clients throughout their life span, from young children to older adults. She provides individual, family and group therapies. Two Intensive Outpatient Programs are available for clients with eating disorders or borderline personality disorder.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently have one office for my private practice, and a second office space for the New Orleans Center for Eating Disorders and the DBT Psychotherapy Network. They are both located in the same office building at 1539 Jackson Avenue, just off of St. Charles Avenue.
